Lent 2024

As we have been reflecting on the season of Lent and growing closer to Jesus, we have been spent time thinking about the 3 important things which we need to do in Lent and sharing our journey with the parish.

Pray: Each class is school took some time to visit our prayer stations and spend time reflecting on the stations on the cross. It was wonderful to share this with Canon Stephen who spent time with the children reflecting on the events of Holy Week,

Fast: We have spent time thinking about things we can give up to make ourselves better people. We have explored how giving things up does not need to be food or items, but actions for example giving up holding a grudge when someone has upset you or even giving up your time for other people.

Give: Over the last week, our school family has been supporting Hedon Parish’s foodbank by bringing in donations of food items, By supporting this, we are helping our parish family support those who are less fortunate than we are.
